IgniteNYC (and our friend Martha Denton) were kind enough to invited ImageThink to create sketchnotes at last night’s event at the The Metropolitan Ballroom in NYC.
5 minutes and 20 slides rotating automatically in front of NYC’s brightest geeks, what would you say? For nearly two years Ignite NYC has cultivated a vibrant community of artists, technologists, thinkers, tinkerers, and personalities to connect, develop new relationships and projects, and answer this challenge. The line-up was quite impressive of 14 speakers for an audience of nearly 800! Topics ranged from building yourself a six-pack of abs, to using artwork to solve crimes, to remembering to put down your twitter feed and call your grandmother! We saw several friendly faces in the line-up like, SheGeek, Corvida Raven. Corvida never fails to entertain, especially when she has Twitter and a box of HoneyNut Cheerios on her side! If you haven’t been to an Ignite in the past, we highly suggest checking it out in a city near you. Until then, enjoy the visual summaries that Heather and Nora created from last night’s session! In addition to the slide show, we wanted to call out attention to some of our favorite presenters: Click on the picture for a larger image.
