We’re wrapping up our summer cooking series of posts with this collection of cooking advice and inspiration from Food Network start and James Beard Award-winning chef, Michael Symon. (Looking for the others? Here they are: José Andres and Mario Batali.)

Symon presented this delectable round-up of Greek comfort food at this All Clad event that included spring pea and feta purée, zucchini fritters and keftedes (Greek meatballs).

If you look at this image closely, you’ll find lots of pearls of kitchen wisdom like “let your garden be your guide” when it comes to sourcing ingredients and “salt pulls bitterness out.”

Our favorite Symon-ism on this board is: “Cooking is ‘feel’ — don’t be afraid to fail.” After all, “we can always order pizza.”
