IMG_2110 As Graphic Recorders, we do a lot of traveling and stay in many hotels across the world. We’d like to have a series of posts highlighting some of our favorite places to stay. This installment is for The Verb Hotel in Boston, MA. The little card next to your bed says, “YOU CAN’T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT But if you dial “0” we’ll try and help you out“. All of the electronics are delightfully retro and there is just an energy of cool about this place. This hotel is perfect for business travelers who just need a place to relax and chill-out.IMG_2111There’s a typewriter in the room, with old Rock n’ Roll memos. The temptation to type up some letters to friends was great, alas- the ribbon was missing. Still, a nice touch.IMG_2116 The room numbers are all very cool collages, and the doors are all bright and cheerful. A lot of hotels easily fall into the dank, sad, and just plain weird categories… not the Verb!poolview3.jpg.1024x0 Most of the rooms face in toward the pool/courtyard, we love the colored glass. We weren’t brave enough to go swimming this time of year, but it’s there if you need it!hotel-exterior-streetview.jpg.1024x0 So if you’re in Boston, book a room at the Verb! Great location, friendly staff and rooms with character!
